The core of the Allies industrial and economic sectors lie in the north among the first of the Earth Kingdoms lands to break away. This area is largely dominated by smaller mining and merchant towns with fewer, albeit larger communities ranging from the size of villages of a few hundred to their capitol city of well over twenty thousand which is the hub of their financial success. Here tax and monetary records are kept, trade goods are distributed throughout the empire, and financial moguls make their living. The legal trade is done through the streets of these places and it is all fueled by the ore taken from their mining operations, which is used to make weapons, armor, money, and so much more that makes the Allied Earth States the industrial giant that it is. Here lives are made easier, or harder depending on your status, and all work for the ideal of staying a free and independent entity to keep the whole of what they represent alive. The miners and smiths in this region think of themselves as being as instrumental in the success of the Allies as the soldiers who defend their freedoms for without their efforts, there would be no army.
