Spread throughout The Burning Legions hills and mountains are the Airbenders who populate the lands, led by Aiden and Alena of the Execution Squad. Aiden, who is a competent albeit young man in his element, and Alena, the youngest member of the squad who contains a thirst for blood and a fighting spirit equal to that of any warrior, watch this domain from the skies with the eyes akin to those of a hawk. With small settlements across the mountain rages that act as small monasteries for the deeply spiritual people, their lifestyles are not changed from the splendor of the Air Temples; though the scenery is a bit lacking from what they would be used to. Patrolling the skies by both bison and glider, Airbenders are vital for the military to maintain a strong presence through the White Water Coast as well as the base on the island of the Black Cliffs. They are also instrumental in setting up and maintaining a fast communications link between the states and the capital.
