"Again!" Dairou snapped! Today, the Water Chief was teaching a class of beginners/intermediate benders advanced forms of the water whip. It was simple enough. Bring back your arm and then flick with your wrist, how hard was that? Apparently too hard because the entire class was out of sync with him because no one was able to lift any water in the air. A few people started to get the flow of energy that they had going at the beginning of class and almost did it perfectly this time. He sighed.
"Alright, forget it, everyone is obviously tired and could use a lunch break, we'll continue this in an hour so chill" Dairou said while shooing them away with his hand. He looked around, it was almost mid day and he barely accomplished a third of the lesson, he looked at the never ending waterfall just beneath the palace. Where all the water bending lessons for water benders were taught, at least for the beginners. He and a few select masters were taught in secret, it was a new thing that he was doing with the teaching programs.
He tried to give everyone a niche, something that would get them recognized as a master. Stretching out his hand towards the waterfall, a small stream began to reach out to him, and he grasped it. It went rigid and he whipped forward. Making the ice crack with a simple whip, a few spectators took notice and watched as the Master Water Bender use such a simple move.

Konji roamed the streets of the Norther Water tribe, his amber eyes flickering with mild annoyance. Though he loved it here, he had not found a single job the whole time he had been here. Desperate for money, the night prior he had entered a bar, where he had heard many rumors, one of which interested him greatly. And so, since daybreak, he had been searching for a man who had been known to have been needing someone of his skills, yet there had been no sign of him at all. 'I search for someone based off of a rumor, and this is what I get!' He shouted at himself in his mind. 'Surely it cannot be this hard to find the chief of the Northern Water Tribe...then again, it would probably help if I knew what he looked like.'
A sigh heaving from his lips, he turned a corner and entered the main street. His eyes flickered across the palace as he walked, and suddenly, a flash of movement caught his eye. Pausing in his stride, he turned his gaze downward to the waterfall below, where waterbenders seemed to be practicing.
Trekking across a bridge, he realized he was standing in front of the palace. His amber eyes were looking over the palace when a flash of movement from somewhere below caught his eye. He watched in silence as a man performed something that he was sure was called a 'water whip,' a common and easy form of attack for a waterbender. Yet, the man had such grace in doing the move that made Konji sure he was a master of the art. 'Perhaps he knows the man I am looking for...' He thought.
After standing there for a few more seconds, he put on his believable fake smile and walked over to the man. "Excuse me for intruding," He called out as he approached him the other man, keeping his voice friendly and kind as he spoke, "But might you know where I could find someone by the name of Dairou?"

OOC: Short sorreh
Dairou was about to whip again until his concentration was broken and the water whip turned into a puddle. Upon hearing his name and a stranger's voice. He looked at the man, "That'd be me, but who are you?" he grinned. Stranger, was even stranger. What person would interrupt a water bender while he was in practice? Or any bender for that matter. Everyone began to scatter as Dairou stopped bending and made a small block of ice to sit on. Propping one leg over the other, and his attention was on the man. He flicked his wrist upward, making a chunk of ice lift up for Konji.
