Im siix today! Moma an Dada got me this litl booke 2 rite in so that I cood practis my spelling. Momas bin teeching me all abowt spelling and words and stuf lick that lately and sumthing calld grummer. I dunno wat that means really, but they are teaching me all kinds of stuff together and Dadas even teeching me waterbending! I lick that little ecsited mark, its so cool! Hehe aniways I think I will write sumthing to miself latr, Im not really to shur how much I can tel me rite now. Taak to me latr Varoen! O and bi the way, thats how Moma said wee spell our name. A captal at the start of a name like Var, Moma, or even Dada. Bi bi Var!

Reely stormie today. Dada went out on a fishing trip a week ago cus its his job. I hopp hes okay. He shuud be tho, cus hes a waterbender and a sillie old storm wouldnt dare hurt him cus then he wuud teech it a lessen. Mabee I can go and bend sum water 2 and then that wuud make the water scarred 2 hurt him. O ya I 4got its this mark ? not this 1 . .

The storms over. Last nite I herd Moma taaking to some guys from the docc about Dada wen I wus in bed. They said he wus in a plas called deed or sumthing. Moma got reely upset and cried herself to sleep… I wonder wen hes gonna come back from deed to bee with us again?

We went to a thing called a funerel today for Dada where evribodie taaked reely nise things about him. I told everiebodie how much I luv him and cant wayt to c him agan. They all cryd reel hard when I seed that tho… I wundr y? Mabee I seed it reely preety so they wur happy. Then we gave flowres to the water for Dada to git and some peeple seed sum more stuff and we went home.

Sorry jurnal I didnt mean to forget about you four so long, Im 7 now and Ive ben working really hard at waterbending four when Dada gets bak. Ive also ben plaing a lot with the othr kids and its been fun. They ask about my Dad if he has cum bak yet. They dont no what the deed plas is eether and Moma stil wont tell me. Im kind of worring if he is gunna cum bak at all…

Moma finali ecsplained the deed plas… Dada isn’t cuming bak… And Moma is only geting more and more sad. Shes needing my help arownd the house a lot lately and I haven’t ben able to go and play with my frends as much. Its oka tho cause after knoing that Dada is gone I haven’t wanted to… Ive been reely sad but I haff to be strong rite now for my Moma. She needs me.
