These are the main rules. The rules are basic and follow common sense. Please be sure to follow them. Breaking of the rules can result in various consequences. 1) Have fun 2) Don’t suck 3) Respect the Admins. We are here to help you enjoy your Rp’ing life and being an ass doesn’t help yourself. 4)Please don’t be an idiot and talk with moronic internet speak such as (ex. “j00 d34d f00!! w00t!!” “U sux0r! n00b!!!!” “ph33r m3! 1 g0t m4d sk1llz!!”)Lol and crap is ok but I will maul anyone who does that other stuff -_- 5) Prior knowledge about Avatar is kinda required. We will not educate you about them, it would be a hardcore waste of our precious time. Too bad for you. 6) Please be active 7) You are allowed as many characters as you want....as long as it is no more then 3.....per account. 8) If you have more then one character, put their name's in your siggy with a built in link to their character pages. Look at my own for example. 9)Advertise!

RP Rules 1-All new members must start out as a beginner. The more you RP with other members the higher and more skilled you will get. If you wish to go up in your bending level you must meet the Requirements. For all “level ups” if you so wish to call them you must take the appropriate exam. As long as you keep active, you can be a Master Water/Air/Fire/Earth/Non-Bender man/girl of doom in no time. 2- Please when you are posting use good grammar and spelling. This helps make your posts more understandable and others won’t think you need to retake English at the preschool level. 3- Being descriptive in what your chars are about to do is a key fact in RP’ing. Make every one of your posts filled with feeling and emotion so we can feel the mood, such as the thrill of the fight or maybe the heart pounding moments of a romance thread, if you don’t it can seem very boring for some. Make any RP post at least a good sized paragraph. If your post is too short, Mods will contact you informing you that you need to add more to them. Having a short post gives the other person nothing to work with which just creates a string of short posts. 4- All expressed thoughts used such as (“where is this?” he thought) should be in Italics, such as (“Where is this?” he thought) And all speech should be bolded and it is preferred to be colored but it is not required. 5- *NEW* Quest Threads: Quest Threads are certain threads where large groups of people go on a quest to either Do something/Find something Extraordinary or Exotic. Such as you and a group go to Kyoshi to ride the Unagi beast or whatever you thing would be epic and fun, try to be original! These threads will be admin watched, and the only person who is able to make changes to the scenario is the Lead Quest Thread Member, whoever's idea it was to start one, it lets them take full control over what happens, like a dungeon master in D&D or Game Master. YOU MAY NOT KILL CHARACTER WTHOUT PERMISSION. But theres are a couple rules you must follow for these types of threads: A) You MUST talk with me before you start the thread. B) You must have AT LEAST 4 people willing to join you C) NO changing of important parts of the world. You CANNOT destroy a major city without my permission, you CANNOT take over a country without my permission ect ect. That's why you must contact me first with your Quest Thread Idea.

Character App Rules EVERYONE STARTS A A BEGINNER BENDER, BEGINNING NONBENDERS START OUT WITH THREE BEGINNIER FIGHTING STYLES! ADDITIONAL FIGHTING STYLES HAVE TO BE EARNED! To start a profile, click on the start thread icon. Then you will give it a title and so on. Then you MUST use the correct code for your character. Original Characters use the OC character code and Plot Characters use the PC character code. After that one of the staff will review it and see whether or not it is acceptable. Once you see a accepted reply posted by me you will be able to begin role-playing and I will place your profile in the area you chose for your bending class. Sub-boards are grouped by your bending class, so whatever bending class you choose is where you can find your profile. It is very useful to other members for you to add a link to your profile in your signature. If your profile is denied, I will list reasons for denial. You should make sure your profile doesn't fall under any of the below reasons. Most Common Reasons for Denial: •Stating in your profile that you are a master bender. Remember, all new members start out as beginning benders, then move up depending on RP level, posts and whether or not I think you are ready after the exam. •Stating you are any character from the show. This also includes making an exact knock-off of a character from the show. •A profile with lack of detail and or extremely bad grammar will be denied. The more correct spelling you have and good grammar the higher the chances of you being accepted. •Lack of detail? Here’s the basic guideline: Word count is required so if its below don’t think we won’t notice. Don’t cheat yourself or make yourself look dumb by trying to pass off on it. If you’re a word short then you might as well add a sentence. If it was a honest mistake then I won’t call you dumb. But if your obviously trying to be “clever” then you might as well put a dunce cap on your own dam head. •If your profile breaks any of the site rules, it will automatically be denied without hesitation. •No having a character that is obviously a rip off from another anime. If you like the picture of one and it fits your character you can use it. Or if you like the name you can use it but not the entire thing. For example you can have a character named Spike Something or Something Speigal but not Spike Speigal such as the character from the ever popular Cowboy Bebop……besides, even if you tried to make a character with hs name theres no way in hell you would come close to being as cool as him. Choosing Your PowersIt comes at great internal conflict when trying to decide who and what you should make. Whether It be the fury and aggression of a Fire Bender or the cool mannered rational Benders of Air. Bender Rules:There are a few rules to being a bender, granted weapon familiarity is always going to be a part of a benders lifestyle, and they MAY take levels to advance in Fighting Styles as a normal Non-Bender would, with two acceptions. 1) You may take NO MORE then THREE Fighting Styles per Bender. Ex. Beginner Fire Bender/Intermediate Swordsmanship/Beginner Two Handed Hammer Shield Fighting/Beginner. BUT ALL OF THEM HAVE TO BE EARNED. NO BENDER STARTS WITH FIGHTING STYLES. 2) You may only upgrade your fighting styles to the Advanced Level if you are a Element Bender. Due to the constant Training. The ONLY exception, is if you decide to take a Mastery in a Fighting Style over a Bending level. 3) The price to upgrade your Fighting Styles is increased by a small amount due to the fact that you have a slight advantage in raw destructive power that is bending. 4) The ONLY way for a Bender to acquire Master FS's is if they decide to not be able to attain Mastery in their bending, but in Fighting Styles instead. But even so, Benders may only be a Master in TWO of their 3 Fighting Styles. If they choose to have 3.
Non-Bender Rules:It might be greatly difficult to make that decision to choose a non-bender. But here are some great incentives: 1)....YOU CAN HAVE AS MANY FIGHTING STYLES AS YOU WANT . But you can only start with 3 you have to earn the rest. 2) You can level ALL of your Fighting Styles to Master level given you have enough PC to use on them.

Character Advancement Now, to make it known fact to all since me and the other admins were totally clueless and we for some reason thought us understanding how this whole thing would work, then EVERYONE knew how it worked. Buuuuuuut.....fail. So here it is, the idiots guide to our Character Advancement Financing. We will be working with what we call, "Posting Credits", or PC as you can know them as for this thread cause I'm too lazy to type that all out every time. Posting Credit, is essentially the amount of posts that you have total until you spend them for something in Character Advancement. The normal amount of PC is applied to ALL bending advancements, but for those who have special Fighting Styles, or FS, the cost of those will be halved approx, such as swordsmanship, Spearman, Lancer ect ect. We don't want to simply edit your post count so that way you can and others can understand how much work you have truly put in. So instead we will keep track of how much of your PC you have spent in a special thread. And now to give two examples of the concept of PC... WHERE DO APPLY TO USE MY PC?! You may ask... Underneath(Password=AWU ) each main board for exams is an application sub-board. There you will see a form to fill out for a request to be examined huehue Ex. You have 100 posts. You want to spend 50 of them to become a Master Swordsman. You take the exam, you pass the exam. We put in the that you have spent 50 points of your current 100. So AFTER spending 50 of your PC you currently have 50 PC left over to do as you wish. . Ex. You have 500 TOTAL posts. But you have used 125 of them to advance your three characters to Master Bending and one of them to have Master Shield Fighting. So now you only have 375 PC. COSTS: Intermediate Bending: 25 PC Advanced Bending: 50 PC Master Bending: 75 PC Beginner FS: 10 PC Intermediate FS: 25 PC Advanced FS: 40 PC Master FS: 50 PC Bender FS Costs: Beginner FS: 15 PC Intermediate FS: 20 Advanced FS: 45 .

Congratulations Insignificant Cog! ADVANCEMENT RULES!!!
Today is the day when you have reached up and pulled yourself from the writhing pit of the masses and joined a higher echelon! Having reached your next advancement level and as many of you certainly know by now, you have the chance, the privilege, nay the honor of promoting one character of your own to a higher level of expertise in their skill levels. But there are a few things you must know, dear pawn:
First; You must post your intent to take an exam in the thread provided with your characters name and the advancement you wish for them to take. Ex- Varoen Master Waterbending Exam.
Second; Afterwards you will be assigned an Admin who will be taking over and administering your exam. Be aware however, most valued worm, that your exam will be in a field thought weakest by your Exam Administrator and will not be made an easy one to pass.
Third; Exams will be made to test the full abilities of that character in the present time and are not to be taken lightly. Should you faile your exam you will be given a week to reflect on your failure before you are again allowed to take the test. Should you break character and suddenly find them to be a pro in the area selected, you will immediately faile your exam and will be ineligible again for advancement for two weeks. You will not be told you have failed but allowed to continue in your stupidity until the threads end as extended punishment. These exams do not go towards your post count.
Fourth; Tests will always be different for each individual. There are no prepackaged exams as each is going to be monitored by the resident examiner and judged by the uniqueness of your character and their reactions to each situation given. Be sure to know your character well before you make the attempt.
Fifth; Character advancement exams are not to be discussed with anyone except your monitoring Admin for reasons of testing confidentiality. In other words, if you faile and figure out why, don’t go blabbing about it to others so they know what to expect. You will not be shown mercy in your advancement thread, if it is decided you will be allowed to advance your character(s) at all afterwards.
Sixth; You will have only 48 hours to post a reply for your advancement thread before the thread is immediately put into the Failed Exams board. Unless you have a good reason for not being here to post such as you are dying, you were in the hospital, someone else died, or another equally acceptable reason then the thread will not be removed from the Failed Board and you will be under the same penalties that apply if you actually failed.
Seventh; There will only be two chances to advance your character. If you are not able to get a character to Intermediate level in two tries, then your character will remain at the beginning level for one month. After 30 days has passed then you may reapply for an advancement exam again.
Eighth; Have fun with it and make your character shine. After all it’s not every day that you get to impress the gods with your skills.
So take heed pitiful mortal! If you accept the rules and consequences written herein and choose to abide by them, sign your characters name and the intent upon which you would like to become better! Your betters are waiting. [/i][/center]
