The Freakin' Meeting (Koi, Katon, Aryana, Alena, Jia Daiyu)
It was morning on this beautiful spring day. The sky is dotted with white, fluffy clouds, the sea is calmer than its been in weeks. Today was going to be a good day. Koi has been at sea for the past three days on route to Roku's Island, the Burning Legion capitol in the White Water Coast. Koi is rapidly approaching the volcano island in his boat.
Koi has learned to not need a stance to control his bending of the boat and only uses simple hand motions and thoughts now. He is dressed in the bare minimum to stay on the boat. His jacket lays on the floor while he wears a dirty and ripped T-shirt. He is shoe less, as usual, and is wearing his grubby pants. Although, as he approaches the city he is cleaning himself up - running his fingers through his hair and changing into different pants.
As he nears the dock he lets the sails take over. Quickly tying off his boat, he grabs his pack and money and jumps off the boat. Drawing the eyes of a few passersby, he begins his search for a market and a place to stay. Today, I need to establish a place to stay near my boat, and hopefully somebody that can give me a bounty to hunt.
As he enters one of the older markets he catches the eye of a fire bender looking through the vegetables stack. This guy looks like a serious fellow, probably pretty good at bending. And his examination process begins: he looks at the way he politely places the vegetables back where they belong, but also notices a slightly reckless side of him, but that's typical to most fire benders, I guess. So, skeptically, of course, Koi walks up to the stack of vegetables next to the mysterious bender and starts looking through them. Watching the bender and continuing to develop his understanding of him.

Katon stood looking through the vegetables, mainly the main ones were present, heads of lettuce, cabbage, carrots, and polka dotted celery... 'Well, this is what I get for letting the ferry man trick me! "Oh I get you off island!!" yeah right... When I said I want to get off the island that meant away form the burning legion TOTALLY! There goes my only chance that I will get off of here for a while...' Katon thought as he rummaged through the vegetables.
'What is this? not only do they have the polka dot celery, but they have the pile of bacteria surprise! Wonderful...' He thought. Katon filled his basket with several vegetables that looked satisfactory, or what was satisfactory compared to the rest. In his opinion it was not a very high standard... He turned each vegetable in his basket and got rid of the polka dotted celery. He found several other vegetables with patches of green skin, fungus, and black spots on several of them.
While looking through the contents of the kiosk, Katon felt weird, someone was watching him. He felt for his satchel, with its weapons inside, and his sword at his left. Being reassured by the weight each brought, he continued on. Katon had become so used to the weight of both that he felt naked without their weight.
Katon continued on as normal, he tilted his head up slightly so he could scan the crowd while still looking like he was looking down at the vegetables. Out of the corner of his eye, Katon still aimlessly rummaged through the vegetables, barely making out their forms. Katons eyes fell upon a man who was looking directly at him. 'THERE!' He thought, a man stared directly at him. His look was very piercing, 'at least I know he is not dumb, he seems rather intuitive. This should be fun.' He thought.
Katon stared him down while keeping his head down, the man was not a fire bender, his many scars dictated that he was a warrior. When he started walking Katon noticed his fluid movements, that and the fact that his eyes were blue gave away the fact that he was a water bender, and a very good one at that.
The man continued to walk toward Katon, immediately Katon looked down and positioned himself to keep the man in the corner of his eye. Katon stood at the kiosk longer than he needed to. He waited for the man to initiate the conversation, several more moments passed and still nothing. You know, it's rude to stare at people. Even if you are trying to figure them out. Katon said as he looked directly into the other man's eyes.

The man who Koi had been watching suddenly seemed as though he knew of his presence. Koi was disappointed that he hadn't noticed and began to take a more precautionary approach - Koi knew this guy meant business now. He rummaged through the vegetables aimlessly, keeping an eye on the man that now knew he was there, simply waiting for the conversation to be initiated. He felt for his dagger on his thy, he felt for the knife in his coat - both were there.
You know, it's rude to stare at people. Even if you are trying to figure them out. Finally. Hmm? Oh. Sorry. I noticed you out of the rest, for some reason. Thought I'd look into it. They both stared cautiously into each others eyes. Neither knew what to say, but then something re-sparked the conversation. A big slug-like thing hit the back of Koi's head. He bent down in pain and put his hand on his head and reach for the knife in his jacket with the other. He looked up at his attacker, but found something he wasn't ready for.

It was a beautiful day and Aryana was enjoying a quiet day with her best friend, Alena. Things where quite lately with E-squad business, and she just enjoyed walking around. She liked her home here in the White Water Coast, it wasn't always peaceful, especially if you are one of the two overseeing the order of things, but today was a good day. The sun was high in the sky, with just a few clouds passing by. Aryana was in an over all good mood today, her eyes were a dark blue and her hair hair was let down, hanging loosely down to her lower back.
Today, she was wearing a simple white tank top and simple blue shorts. On her feet she just wore white flats and hidden right under the leg of her shorts was her knife and a little vile containing water, which she never goes anywhere without. Around her neck were the two necklaces that she never takes off. "So, Allie, what are our plans for today..are we just walking around? Or did you want to go somewhere...ooh! Maybe we can explore!" Her voice got a little excited toward the end, but this is a side of her that only her close friends got to see.
As they walked along she couldn't help but notice two men standing on the opposite side of the market place. One of them was tall with multiple scars, The other one was not as tall but looked like he could fight. There was definite tension before these two. Now Ary..it's your responsibility to help keep the White Water Coast safe..but...i cant help but wonder..what an interesting brawl this could be..
She turned to Alena "Hey Allie...do you see those guys over th-.." She was interrupted when a large slug-like thing went flying past her head, she managed to dodge it and watched it fly right into the taller mans head with a loud thud. "woah..that must have hurt" Her suspicion was confirmed when the man bent down in pain. She walked over to them slowly "Hey, you alright?"

Alena walked along the market place with Aryana. The clear skys, warm weather, and spending time at last with her best friend had put her in a good mood, and she strolled with a bounce in her step and a bright grin on her face. Her aquamarine eyes darted from place to place excitedly as she looked at the different stands and people in the market.
'This is so much fun!' She thought happily, but before she could retreat into her thoughts like she usually did, Aryana cut her off. "So, Allie, what are our plans for today..are we just walking around? Or did you want to go somewhere...ooh! Maybe we can explore!" Alena's grin, somehow, widened even further at Aryana's last comment. "Exploring, definitely! Or...perhaps...we could pull a prank on someone." A mischievous look flickered across her face as she spoke, then vanished as the grin took its place again. "But, that won't happen, cause you're probably too chicken." She teased her Aryana, her eyes flickering in good humor.
However, as they continued to walk, Alena couldn't help but notice Aryana's attention waver from her to something else, and that the girl's eyes had stayed looking at one thing for a while. Silently, she followed Aryana's eyes to the spot of where she was looking; two men. Se looked over both of them, quickly determining that a fight would, most likely, happen between them.
At Aryana's question, she nodded, never taking her eyes off the two men. 'This isn't good...we should get away from them as soon as possib...' Her thoughts were cut off as she watched a slug-like thing fly past Aryana and slam into the taller man. She felt slightly sorry for the man as he kneeled over in pain, but turned to leave, opening her mouth to call Aryana with her. "Hey, you alright?" Turning back, she saw Aryana walking toward the man. She paused for a second, then let out a sigh and shook her head. Putting on a small, concerned smile, she followed Aryana to the man. 'This is a bad idea...but...something entertaining might happen, so I guess it's not totally pointless.'

Jia Daiyu, after wandering along the beaches of the White Water Coast, she came across a town. It was about time. She was starting to believe there were no towns on such a beautiful island. She was sitting down, inhaling the beautiful sea breeze. Oh, how she loved the beach. She was in a great mood, which was quite the rare occurrence.
It was such a beautiful, and sunny day. Her outfit fit the weather perfectly; it was a light blue, sleeveless dress, reaching down a little passed her knees. If you looked at her, she seemed harmless. Not true. Underneath her dress, strapped to her thighs were the daggers and kunai that she had always carried with her, not to mention the little bottle filled to the brim with water. Being a traveler, you're never sure when you're gonna need it.
She was sitting down upon the beach, eating a nice, ripe apple that she had thieved from a small stand in the marketplace. She leaned back on the sand, relaxing, when she heard it. The loud sound of a ship disturbing her relaxation. Who the hell would be stupid enough to do that? She sat back up, fuming with anger.
She looked over to the man jumping off of his boat. The one thing running through her mind was, "Of course. It's a man." She could tell by the scars that was clearly too humble to hide, he was the show-off type of guy. "No one cares if you're strong, or how many fights you've been in. Fucking cover yourself." She rolled her eyes, and leaned back against the sand. Even with the feeling of the sand against her skin, she still couldn't concentrate. The already-pure-hatred she felt for this man was overwhelming.
She growled lightly to herself, unable to relax with the unsettled image of that man in her mind. She stood off of the sand, wiping the remains off her body. She walked in the direction he had gone; into the market. No...she didn't walk, she stormed into the market, mumbling under her breath the curse words that she would soon recite to him. Why the hell did he have to ruin her good day with his noise and his obvious cry for attention.
She looked back and forth between the different markets that they had in this small part of the town. He had to be somewhere. She went straight towards where all the food was. She knew from plenty of experience that the first place a traveler goes to when they make it to a town, or in this case, dock in a town, is the food market. There were quite a few places to get food, so it took a few tries to find him.
But there he was. Standing in the kiosk before her. This was the perfect chance for her to...do something to him. She wasn't sure, but she would think of something. The overflowing hate clouded her common sense, so she was unaware of anything else that was going on before her. She did not notice that the man that she happened to be hunting was hunting someone of his own. Even if she had known, she wouldn't have cared.
The following actions were fueled by the hate. She was out in the middle of the walkway, with many people walking beside her. She waited for a clearing between herself and the man and she threw her half-eaten apple. "Headshot, bitch! You just got owned!" When she was aware of what she had done, she wasn't ashamed of it. Quite the opposite. She was very proud of what she had done.
With all the people walking around, she kind of figured that he wouldn't really figure out it was her right away. But he had. What the fuck? Then she realized she was the only one standing immobile in a large crowd of moving people. That just might have been the reason.
There were two girls who had went over to the young man, and they felt sympathy for him. Obvious sluts. They were just feeding what he wanted. Attention. "Fuck, I hate people." The other man, the one that was beside the main focus of her hate, was just standing there. He seemed to be in a little shock, trying to register what had just happened. That's understandable.
There was something strange about these girls though. They seemed so comfortable, most likely locals. What really bugged her though was how they carried themselves, like they were the queens of the whole damn planet. "I hate these sluts." She turned herself around to walk away, now that her job was done. However, her job felt incomplete, since those girls had given him what he truly desired. This was just another reason she hated everyone.

The, what he now understood to be, half-eaten apple stirred more attention then he was expecting. With his knife completely drawn by the time he return to an up-right stance he noticed the only figure standing motionless on the other side of the crowd - obviously the attacker. However, Koi's attention was quickly drawn away from the motionless figure and on this girl rapidly approaching her. "Hey, you alright?" She said as another figure walked up behind her, suggesting a friendship between them. "I'm fine, what kind of bitch would throw a half-eaten apple at me.?" He said bitterly in response to the girl's question. The first girl dressed in a simple tank top - obviously a resident. By the weapons on her she was probably a water bender, probably an island official too. The other girl was cheerful, which Koi found annoying, but he didn't care at the time.
Koi did not waste anytime waiting for an answer. In furry he began walking toward the person that had so rudely attacked him, completely forgetting that he had left a firebender behind him. However, at this point Koi's senses were on high alert, he was ready for anything.
As he drew closer to the figure he understood her to be female, and probably a water bender based on Koi's knowledge of his kind. The bitch wore a stern face, suggesting she wasn't through with Koi.

Before the water bender could answer, something knocked him in the face, as the man doubled over in pain Katon stood there, searching the crowd for the origination of what appeared to be half eaten apple. His eyes fixed on a girl that was standing amid the throng of people looking their direction. Katon ignored the girl temporarily as two other girls came up to the man and started sympathizing with him. Katon watched thoughtfully listening to the conversation thoughtfully.
One girl wore a white tank top and blue shorts, the other moreover cheerful and giddy. Katon noticed the fluid motions of the first girl and her blue eyes identified her as a water bender. The other one, with her flight-like motion, that almost gave her the appearance of walking on air gave away that she was an air bender. Katon turned his attention to the girl that had thrown the fruit, but she started to walk away, then before he could say anything to the other man he started to walk off after his assailant.
Katon turned to the man, then to the two girls, he walked to both and said, ”Ummm, hi…. My name is Katon, ummm… Wait right here, I’ll be right back.”In more of an awkward situation that he would have liked to be in, Katon walked off after the guy trying to catch up to him.
’What is he doing? Where is the other girl going? Uho, please don’t do anything stupid… ’ Katon caught up to the guy and said ”Hi, my name is Katon, what is yours?”. It was basically the only thing that he could say in a situation like this. ’Maybe in a situation like this I can help out and try to maintain peace, the last thing that I want is the guards to get involved in this mess… Or I could just get out of here and act like I was not a part of anything! But then I might miss the chance to meet a potentially good ally…’ Katon maintained pace with the man as they walked toward the girl. The other two girls followed a bit farther behind, all of this seemed to be turning into a big confrontation. ’I always cause trouble to the Burning Legion, but now that I don’t want trouble, trouble is finding me… What am I getting myself into? I’ll just go with it, what happens happens …’

Aryana just stood there looking off at the man furiously walking after a girl that was standing in the middle of a crowd. "Ok..now..i am thoroughly confused.." She looked off at the man that was standing there and blinked "Do you know what's g-.." before she could complete her sentence ”Ummm, hi…. My name is Katon, ummm… Wait right here, I’ll be right back.” That was definitely not going to work, she then turned to her best friend to ask if maybe she knew, but one look at Allie told her that she wasn't going to find an answer there either.
With a hint of frustration, she started stalking after the others. Wait right here, I'll be right back..uhuh sure, yeah, not on my watch. She looked back at Allie "..I'm sorry..its my job to make sure things go smoothly..you don't have to come with me..if you prefer to do something else..?" She looked at her with a sort of eagerness in her eyes that she knew only Alena would understand.. I want Allie to come...but..only if she wants to..
She turned and kept walking, then something caught her attention. This girl...I'm getting some MAJOR bitch vibes from this one.. Then..things became personal "I hate these sluts." She walked faster, determined to keep her tempo under control. She walked past the two men she was once pursuing and stood right in front of the girl, crossing her arms. "Excuse me? Who exactly do you think you're calling a slut."

Alena watched the whole scene play out in front of her in silence; something that was, for her, a rare occurrence. Keeping the mask of a cheerful, carefree smile on her face, she cast a glance around. She easily spotted the man's attacker in the crowd; a girl who looked to be around her own age, who was standing still in the sea of constantly moving people and looking at the man with an air of pride. 'Some people are just bitches.' She thought, having taken an instant dislike to the girl.
Shaking her head, she turned her attention to Aryana and the man, watching as they talked. Then. however, the man walked away, obviously angry and looking for whoever had thrown the offending item at him. She grinned slightly at the thought of the man and the girl fighting in the marketplace. 'Something interesting to brighten my already good day? Lucks on my side, it seems.' She thought, the idea of a fight pushing away her thoughts of mistrust in an instant.
”Ummm, hi…. My name is Katon, ummm… Wait right here, I’ll be right back.” At the introduction, Alena snapped out of her thoughts. 'I wonder what I missed this time...' Her aquamarine eyes flickered to the man, who was closing in on the girl, then to who she now knew as Katon, who was running after the man. Then she looked to Aryana, who was following after all of them, a look of annoyance on her face, then paused and turned back to her. "..I'm sorry..its my job to make sure things go smoothly..you don't have to come with me..if you prefer to do something else..?" Alena grinned at her best friend. "Your kidding, right? I LIVE for things like this! Plus, I'm spending today with you, remember?...Lets go!" She chirruped, and, not waiting for an answer, shot ahead of Aryana.
She had only taken a few strides forward until she heard the girl's words. "I hate these sluts." Alena stopped moving instantly, aquamarine eyes narrowing. 'Stupid fucking bitch...how dare she call ME a slut!' She thought as she imagined the many ways she could kill the girl as her anger increased. Then, suddenly, her cheerful demeanor returned, as if it had never left, though her eyes still flashed with fury. Returning to her original pace, she quickly made it over to them. She stood silently off to the side and watched the scene unfold once again, though her eyes never went far from the girl who had called her a slut.

Jia Daiyu first realized she messed up when she kept standing there. That brought his attention to her. Oh, wonderful. She noticed all four of these people walking towards her. She tried to walk away, but they caught up quickly enough. God, who were these people? Marathon sprinters? Fuck. She was in for it not. It's not as if she were afraid; just bored of this. She should have just walked away when she had the chance.
But wait. She DID still have a chance. They hadn't reached her yet. Of course, there were many people walking around, but she never wheeled away from a challenge. That is...if she wanted to do a challenge. Usually, she was too lazy. She turned her body around to walk swiftly away from them.
Oh, but that's when she heard it.
"Excuse me? Who exactly do you think you're calling a slut?" It was definitely one of the chicks she insulted. She gave up on her escape and turned around to face her. It was the less happy-freaky looking one. The other one really needed to take some depressent pills. Did they exist? They should for her.
Jia placed her hands on her hips, showing the girl that she really DIDN'T care what she thought. Which was true. She just wanted to leave. The men were fast approaching behind her, and the other girl had already caught up;although, she didn't say anything yet. She turned her attention back to the woman who had first talked to her.
"I don't know. You? Oh, and that chick standing next to you. Her too." Jia wondered how the hell all these people got roped into this. She hit ONE person, not all damn four of them. This was troublesome.[Naruto reference. xD]

Yep. OK. Because everybody around Koi got hit with the half-eaten apple, not him. after Koi stomped off through the two girls toward his attacker. To his surprise the two girls, one water bender and one air bender, stormed right passed Koi and beat him to the girl before he could have any piece of the action. The other fire bender seemed to do the same thing, but he didn't have a reason to be upset, he was trying to maintain pace with Koi. ”Hi, my name is Katon, what is yours?” He looked at the fire bender in confusion, but decided not to show any anger toward him. "Hi, I'm Koi. It seems these two girls are more pissed off then I am, and I'm the one who got hit!"
Him and the fire bender kind of lost interest in persueing Koi's attacker. Koi's interest in getting revenge slipped away when he saw a bitch fight arose. Him and Katon continued walking until they could catch up to the pestered girls. "Excuse me? Who exactly do you think you're calling a slut." The other female water bender said in disgust. From over hearing the words the air bender and the water bender exchanged, and by the way two acted, Koi understood the water bender to be a member of the Burning Legion, and the overseer of this part of this city. The air bender was unnaturally perky, Koi did not like this in her and he found her to be rather annoying. Non the less the air bender was the adventure type based on what she said to the other water bender. The bitch who threw the apple was just an all around bitch, no question about it. Just a bitch. But Koi did not care much to get revenge anymore.
Koi and Katon stood next to each other as the two girl approached the bitch. Both curious to see the events unfold, but also, intending to intervene and get involved if things get to harsh.

Katon looked from the girls to Koi. ’Girls are so easily agitated, I just want to be here if a fight starts up. If a fight does start up, should I either leave or stay to try to calm it down. I’ve been in enough trouble with the burning legion, I don’t need them to catch me here.’ Katon looked at Koi and Koi said to him, “Hi, I'm Koi. It seems these two girls are more pissed off then I am, and I'm the one who got hit!" ’Tell me about it the one girl seems more angry than a disturbed bee hive.’ ”Some people just really don’t know how to control their anger, I hope this doesn’t turn into a brawl. That actually would be exciting to see and even more fun to participate in, but I really do not want to draw very much attention to myself.”
’Maybe it would be best to stop this thing before it starts, but seeing them fight would be so much fun! NO, it would be wrong to let them take bites from each other, and wrong to enjoy it. I had better at least try to stop this thing.’ Katon walked up to the tense group, he didn’t look back to see if Koi had followed him. ”So, what seems to be the problem? A couple of hurtful words and insults were thrown, that and an object, and now estrogen is flying in the air and tempers are high! Let’s just try to calm down and, ummmm try to get along? Because this was just a normal day and if you look at my friend Koi here, who was the one assailed by the said flying apple, he does not seem to be as mad as you are.” Katon said as he pointed to the waterbenders, but did not motion towards the airbender who seemed to be more happy than angry, and even more so eager, ’Great, another preppy, annoyingly happy girl that is probably hi off of some drugs.’
”So, why are we even about to argue about this occurrence, it is he who should be angry. Mainly in my view it is very foolish to be-” Katon looked away for a second as the girl who threw the apple punched him in the face, she came for another hit but Katon was fast enough to catch her arm before she could do it a second time.’I can see diplomacy will not work here.’ Katon and looked at the girls and Koi. There was silence for a millisecond and someone else spoke up.

If there was anything that was getting more on her nerves, it was this girl in front of her. Not only was she a bitch, she was extremly blunt. 'Ok Ary, calm, no fighting on the streets.' Ary tried her hardest to compose herself then looked back at the girl. "Alright, i guess that matter is settled, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Next matter, why did you throw something at that man's head? Are you not aware that you can start a quarrel?"
She managed to calm herself down but her eyes had become storm blue. The one thing that was helping her stay the slightest bit calm, was Alena standing beside her. She could see through her smile though.. 'So, Allie's temper is rising as well..'She smiled at the thought that Alena was already probably plotting the girls death. Before she could do anything, the two men had caught up. ”So, what seems to be the problem? A couple of hurtful words and insults were thrown, that and an object, and now estrogen is flying in the air and tempers are high! Let’s just try to calm down and, ummmm try to get along? Because this was just a normal day and if you look at my friend Koi here, who was the one assailed by the said flying apple, he does not seem to be as mad as you are.”
'Ok, enough..' She looked at the group. "Look, My name is Aryana. Varoen and I look over the White Water Coast to make sure there is no trouble. Katon, yes, im angry. Forget the insult that was thrown at me, this young lady is disturbing the peace and that is, in no way, acceptable." Katon was about to speak again when suddenly, he was punched. Aryana stood between Katon and the girl that had just punched him. She looked over at the girl that had not yet introduced herself. "I strongly suggest that you don't upset me anymore. You dont want me to have to act on this matter, If that happens..Nobody will be happy, i can assure you that." Her eyes were growing a darker shade of blue with every second. 'She leaves..or i remove her..'
