The Northern Air Empire sits upon the peeks of what was formerly Earth Kingdom territory, overlooking the broken nation. Seeking expansion to grow their population, so that they might avoid genocide on such a massive scale again, they seek to take a fight to The Earth King and show the world that they are a force to be reckoned with. Spurning the outside world, they allow no one inside of their borders who is not of their blood, and their communications with the other nations are few; With the air temples, they are nonexistent. Currently, they have most of their warriors positioned along the mountain range that is their border with The Earth Kingdom, and though they say nothing of it, they act as though they prepare for invasion. Air bison and benders on gliders patrol the skies and scout the regions beyond the mountains, causing the small force of Earthbenders placed there to wonder if they are going to be attacked daily. The Swift Breeze Assassins of their lands are elite trackers and swift killers, who use their surroundings to their advantage, combined with their elegant fighting style. What will the Old Airbenders ultimately bring to this world so thrown into chaos?
