The Eastern Air Temple is continuing much as the temples always have--keeping a peaceful existence and going about their day in harmony with the natural world. The one small difference between them and the others, however, is their small acquisition of land from the Earth Kingdom. They have not taken over these lands because they feel an abject hatred towards them though, quite the opposite actually. They wish to see the Kingdom a whole nation again, the world returned to its peaceful state, and in protecting these lands, despite the dangerous situation it could pull them into, they feel that they are helping to maintain the balance--even if it is only a small contribution. Despite the fact that they are still an all female cast of Airbenders, they do not fear that an attack like the previous genocide will occur, but in the event that an attack does take place, they are all battle ready to protect both the people under their care, as well as their temple.
