Though not literal in meaning, Rockslide Canyon is merely the figurative name given to the Earthbender's region of The Burning Legion. Made up of several coastal settlements at the base of the southern and northern mountains on the mainland, Rockslide Canyon helps to maintain the ground level operations of The Great Gates of Azulon, in partnership with the Airbenders of the Windswept Hills. A forward military base on the small island of The Black Cliffs is headed by this region in cooperation with the other three. It's capitol city is located inside of a canyon, has been carved out by a long flowing river and hangs on the rock walls where it was created by the Earthbending population.
