It was a beautiful day in the Wind Swept Hills. And by beautiful, it meant slightly cloudy skies with the sun lightly shining in the background. It was a great day to just walk around. Nothing eventful was happening, at least not until this point. So it was just a calming and relaxing morning all together. Aryana had come by to visit her friends, Alena and Aiden, but it seems as though Alena had gone off somewhere else. So she decided to just spend time with Aiden.
Over the last couple of months, she had grown tired of running around to no end trying to find her brother. This was her break from all of that. Plus, she hadn't seen Aiden in a few years so it would be a nice reunion. They were just walking down a path, talking a little. She was hoping that he would be able to show her around since she's never been to this part of the Burning Legion before. "So, how have you been..haven't seen you in a while, but you really haven't changed at all have you, still look the same after 4 years." She said with a smile.

Aiden awoke early in the morning, even before the sun had reached his villa in the Wind Swept Hills., He stood alone in the dark main room of his villa that was, looking out of his window which over looked one of the larger villages of this domain. Taking a deep breath he smiled as the scent of a forth coming rain invaded his senses. Rubbing the sleep from his eyes and opening a set of large wooden double doors that lead from his room to a balcony that sat hanging over cliff, He sighed and stretched loosening his joints and muscles why am I up soo early[/i] he thought as he looked to the west to see the sun just breaking over the highest of mountain peaks. He walked slowly and quietly as he normally did from the balcony back to his bedroom and grabbed his sleeveless leather undershirt shrugging it on over his lean torso as we walked out of his home.
With nothing better to do he decided to get an early morning exercise in before he should start his day. He ran from his home to one of the far cliffs, not too long or hard of a run he reached his destination in no time at all. Looking out over the lands claimed by the Burning legion he admired the beauty of the early cloudy day. Turning back Aiden headed back to his station to bathe and dress for his supposed duties. As he reached the main gate he smiled slightly, picking up his pace he launched himself into the air using his bending to propel him higher, once he was sure he was more than high enough to clear the obstacle in his path Aiden straightened himself out and let his body fly weightlessly through the air. Closing his eyes he let the feel of the wind rushing over his skin and through his hair offer him some sort of solace.
Opening them he landed silently on one of the building tops, he looked down below him at the empty streets “Gah, I miss the days where I was an assassin. All this sitting around doing nothing shit is for the birds.” He muttered under his breath. Sighing at the thought he couldn’t help but think back on the many missions him and his fellow Execution Squad members had gone through to bring an end to the Fire Lords reign of injustice. Shaking his head he laughed quietly “I wonder what Varoen and Zek are up to…Whatever it is…I’m sure it’s gotta be better than this…Then again whatever my older brother his up to I’m sure it involves blood…and screaming”a sinister smile curved his lips as he thought of his brother Zek and his…hobbies..Then thinking back to his meeting with Varoen, he could hold back the fit of laughter that escaped his lips, remembering the day perfectly he looked up to the charcoal colored sky and spoke softly “Ahh that waterbender would be a life saver right about now.”
Reaching his villa at about noon, Aiden took his time showering and drying himself off. Once he had his loose fitted pants and was just reaching for his silk button down tunic he heard the sound of a light tapping on his door. Throwing the tunic over his shoulders and sliding his arms into the short sleeves Aiden headed for the door. He hesitated in answering it, expecting it to be one of the locals bitching about his neighbors stealing his poultry. Opening the door intending to let the one unfortunate soul who would come to his private quarters just to complain, Aiden was taken a little surprise to see Aryana. Another member of the E-Squad, also a waterbender, smiling slightly at her appearance he walked out and brushed his hands through his still damp hair getting it out of his eyes. Aiden walked with her for a few moments before she spoke up. Turning to face her he couldn’t help but laugh softly at her observation “Well, Aryana I AM and airbender…our beauty usually lasts longer than most” he said in a teasing tone.
Then sobered up immediately “But, on a more serious not..with the acceptation of the scars on my face, I suppose I really haven’t changed that much..” he ran his finger along the scar that cut across the bridge of his nose, it was barely visable four years can heal even the most unappealing of things. Then looking back at his colleague and offered her a sincere half smile “You haven’t really changed all that much either, and not a lot has been going on here…Just a lot of incessant bitching…How bout yourself?” looking up as his words rang into silence, Aiden inhaled deeply as a soft breeze opened his tunic slightly and ruffled through his hair.

Aryana was overall extremely happy to be in the presence of one of her closest friends and comrade again. It had been a while since she'd seen any of her friends, Its been 4 years since she'd seen Aiden, Var, Ryu, or Fire. She missed Alena dearly but she hadn't seen her in about 2 years since her encounter with Katon, Jia, and Koi. Even Jia would be pleasant to have around every now and then, and thats saying a lot because Jia was in no way, shape, or form...a pleasant person.
Going for a walk with Aiden was already putting her in a good mood. At his comment she couldn't help but laugh, 'Wow..you know...it's nice to know that even after everything thats happened, he still has such a cheery sense of humor. Some people don't need to change.' She thought to herself as she smiled softly at the beautiful day ahead of them, a change in his tone made her turn her head slightly to look at him, watching as his hand raises up to his scar, her hand subconsciously running along the scar that ran down her arm, memories flooding back.
With a light shake of her head to clear her thoughts, she smiled back at him softly, lightly placing her hand on his arm, lowering it from his scar. "Ya, i guess i really haven't changed huh?" She paused for a while and laughed softly, "Well, if anything i guess I've gotten softer, and that must get annoying" she looked ahead of them for a while, dodging a branch on her left before answering. "Well..I can honestly say that life is pretty dull. Nothing much happening at all..and still no word about my brother OR Konji.." Aiden was one of the few people that she cared enough to tell about her life.
The soft breeze that came felt amazing, it blew through her long loose hair, which now flowed to her lower back and ruffled her dress, making her shiver slightly as the wind touched her arms and legs, but she didn't mind, this was her favorite kind of weather and she noticed that they both had stopped walking. She looked back at Aiden, smiling softly as she closed a button on his tunic and reached up to ruffle his hair more. "You know, you looked so peaceful just then that nobody would've ever believed you were an assassin, oh and one more thing, you shouldn't walk around with your shirt open like that" She laughed softly "If i didn't know better i would say you were trying to seduce the women of your village..silly." Oh how she missed teasing him.

Aiden felt a slight tugging on his tunic, snapping him out of his peaceful escape. Looking down at Aryana he noticed that she had buttoned the center button of his tunic he raised an eyebrow at her action and then wrinkled his nose and laughed softly as she ruffled his white hair. He couldn’t help but smile slightly at her words, “Ary my dear nobody has ever taken me as an assassin. Oh and just for your information…I have no trouble getting the women in this village to swoon over me. I have no use for seduction” he said not able to hide the smile that played along his lips.
As they continued to walk Aiden felt the temperature drop and lifted his gaze up toward the grey clouds that were heading towards them. The scent of rain invaded his senses as he felt the first droplets had begun to descend from the heavens. Inhaling deeply, he had always loved everything that the rain brought with it whenever the skies opened up and let loose its tears. Aiden stopped in mid-step as the rains really began to fall, tilting his head back and closing his arms holding his arms out at his sides, and making a slow circle he laughed softly as the water slowly soaked through his clothing.
Aiden then looked back to Aryana as the water ran down his face, he gave her a grin and then spoke over the thundering rain. “Ary, you said that you believe you have gotten soft? Why don’t we help get you back to the level you should be at?” as he spoke he sent a soft gust of air towards the waterbender.
The gust wasn’t strong enough do anything except knock her off balance, and to hopefully get a rise out of her. Licking the water off his lips he waited “this should give me an opportunity to hone my one skills as well, in the odd chance that I too have become rusty I while being here and not killing people” he said just barely loud enough for his sister assassin to hear.

Ary chuckled softly as he wrinkled his nose and she saw the familiar playful smile spread across his face.“Ary my dear nobody has ever taken me as an assassin. Oh and just for your information…I have no trouble getting the women in this village to swoon over me. I have no use for seduction”she smiled more and dropped her hand back to her side looking up at him. "You never really looked the part did you? Thats what made you so deadly." The smile grew at his last comment. "Oh i bet, although, i don't see why so many women swoon over you, could it possibly be your playful nature? It CANT possibly be your charm." She said in a teasing tone, and laughing slightly.
As she heard the thunder, Ary slowly lifted her gaze up to the darkening sky, muttering under her breath, excited, "A storm..how wonderful!" She smiled more as the rain began to fall, closing her eyes and leaving her hands at her sides, letting the rain pour down and soak through her dress and hair, Aiden's voice brought her back and she slowly opened her eyes and looked back at him, “Ary, you said that you believe you have gotten soft? Why don’t we help get you back to the level you should be at?” her smile spreading more as he speaks, tilting her head to the side slightly trying to read what he was planning.
"Oh? Well how do you plan on doing th-.." the gust of wind caught her off guard and she lost her balance for a second, then regained it, smiling more. "I see i was wrong to let my guard down huh?" As she spoke she formed a medium sized ball of water from the rain falling above his head and let it drop on him, completely soaking his clothes.
She chuckled softly and slowly braided her hair back. "Honing your skills huh? Well, i don't see anything wrong with a little harmless fun." She smiled more at him as she now stood about 4 feet in front of him, attentive, waiting for him to make the first move. 'Well..this is quite exciting! I wonder what you're thinking Aiden..'

A small smile curved his lips as Ary spoke “That is one of the main things that made me so deadly, but then again you’re not really supposed to appear to be an assassin…buuut..i guess I am a little better at it than most” He spoke as he recounted what Sanosuke had drilled into his brain from the beginning ‘You must be as a shadow, a wraith..never seen or discovered. You will learn how to hide in plain sight, blend in the crowd..’ it was what one of the most important things for his kind to do.
Aiden listened to her speak once more, and was stopped in mid-sentence as his gust of wind reach its target, he couldn’t help but laugh softly as Ary was knocked off balance and the comment she made, “honestly sister? Should you ever let your guard down around another assassin?” he said in a dark tone. This is what made him so deadly to others, his ability to be so deceptive. Sure it was a trait that all of assassins should indeed have, but he was a master at it. Always being playful and that is what draws his victims toward him. He makes them feel as though they have no need for shielding themselves. Closing his eyes he listened to her speak and as she fell silent he opened his eyes to see what she was doing, the moment he did he was drench to the bone. Closing his eyes then laughed and shook his hair and focused his gaze back on her.
As the water cascaded down his face he spoke up “Now now now Ary that was just completely unnecessary...” as he spoke he chuckled softly. Looking down at her feet he spoke once more “I do agree this should prove to be very fun indeed” he spoke with a playful smile curving his lips, as he spun around slowly swirling the air around him catching the droplets as he did so, first creating a funnel of air that flowed around him as he made his circle, then spinning faster he shot his right arm forward using the hair like an extension of his arm almost like a whip he swung it low at her feet.

She was really enjoying this encounter, it had been a while since she had done anything..'fun'. Seeing that his playful nature was still the same after all these years was a pleasant surprise. She steadied herself again after his little attack had knocked her off balance. “honestly sister? Should you ever let your guard down around another assassin?” She chuckled softly at his dark tone. "My bad, i was under the impression that you could be trusted dear Aid." her teasing smile spread a little more "Don't worry though, it wont happen again."
Seeing him drenched made her laugh. "Oh no, that was COMPLETELY necessary. Aww, you look so harmless standing there completely soaked. If only they knew.." As soon as she saw his playful smile, she knew something was coming her way, although she wasn't sure what exactly, all she could do was keep her eyes on him. Then, it all happened quite fast..one minute he was spinning the air around him, the next, it was being used like a whip and shot at her feet. She smirked and elegantly dodged it by flipping herself backward, as soon as her feet touched the ground she shot forward at him, creating a water whip from the droplets around her as she neared him.
"Nice try but..i wont let my guard down twice."

((Sorry, I have had a dry spell >.> Dun hate meh..and this post is not gonna be that great…but yea xD >.<))
Aiden’s smile only grew as she mentioned how it was completely necessary, and that he looked soo harmless. Yea..If only they knew was right. He watched as she dodged his first attack by flipping back out of the way. ‘Well, she sure is graceful. Gotta give her that...But then again she always had been’[/i] that was one of things he would never forget about the women who stood before him. He watched as she landed and dashed toward him creating a waterwhip as she ran forward. He kept his eye on hers, waited until she was only a few paces away.
Then using his airbending, he jumped and shot a blast of air beneath him causing him to rise rapidly laughing as he did so, then flipping his body he angled himself down cascading towards the ground. He flipped gracefully and landing silently behind her. “Ah my dear you don’t need to let your guard down. I’m just faster than you” he said teasingly hoping to get a rise out of her. He stood appearing relaxed, but ready to act at a seconds notice.
