[Kaoru Yuichi // Yui]

Instead of sticking with the coastlines, Kaoru and Erity had chosen to look around The Mountain Guard, simply to check out what the place was like. Yui hadn’t been out in a few days, which meant when he would finally make his escape, he would do something to get Karou into some deep trouble. Unsure of what the Mountain Guard really was, he decided to let Erity wander as she pleased as he wandered to check out the scenery, with hopes there wouldn’t be anything to trigger Yui. For some reason, Yui really disliked Erity, but it could have been for a reason. Perhaps she was just the person he wanted to focus his anger on or he felt Kaoru’s strong feelings for her and mirrored them. Either way, he would typically insult her and leave her somewhere, so Kaoru figured it was best to be alone for a little while. He didn’t like it, but he felt it was for the best.

The way he was feeling at the moment, the simplest thing would more than likely let him out, which, given their location, it would result in a fight or waking up in the bed of a strange woman again. He sighed as he leaned against a random wall to take a look at some of the sights. Nothing too out of the ordinary, other than more Earth Kingdom soldiers than average it seemed. More than likely had to do with the Northern Air Temple, since their borders connected about there. His violet eyes took in the surroundings and a serene smile came to his face for reasons unknown to him. Of course though, he was expecting it, a fairly attractive girl came across. Yui seemed to be quite eager to come out, since Kaoru immediately started to feel that same old dizzy sensation, as if he were going to pass out. His eyelids drooped down a bit then closed for a moment as Kaoru lost control of his body once again. Well at least Erity was taken care of, and away from him for the time being.

’About damned time!’ Yui opened his eyes and looked about. Of course, he had no idea where he was, once again. From the looks of everything, they were somewhere in the Earth Kingdom. EVERYTHING was rock of some kind! It didn’t take a child to put that together and Yui was certainly not a child. It was obvious that Kaoru had seen a woman that he thought was VERY attractive which is what caused Yui to come out, the trick was finding her now. The lighter personality had good taste, other than that spacey Airbender girl, he could easily do better than that! With a sigh, Yui stood and wandered throughout... wherever he was at the moment, to see if he could either find this woman, someone better or find a person to pick a fight with. Either way, things were to be quite enjoyable in his mind.

Kazuma was walking through the Mountain Guard heading back to The Bulwark, and back to his active duty. True he wasn't very pleased to have to go back and risk his life some more but it was better then walking around waiting for something interesting to happen.

As he walked he found the scene of the area to be both, beautiful and terrible. From where he was standing he could see both sides of the world. The reigning natural beauty of the Earth Kingdom....his home. The country in which he was born and raised. And the country where he had "died" so to speak. His best and worst memories are here. His parents and family died in the Blue Flame that passed over the lands in a despicable destructive path of death.

And as there is beauty, there is always misery. As he turned his head to the right he saw the scorched and blackened lands. The trees were twisted in pain and the earth was decimated and wracked with displeasure. Every now and again if you listened hard enough you could hear the screams of those being tortured and or killed by the Demons of the Spirit Realm.

There were always stragglers. The ones that didn't make it. Those that were being hunted by the Spirit Hordes. The ones that could not run fast enough from the impending doom that followed into the safety of the Walls of the Bulwark. And even he didn't know how long that "safety" would last. He hoped that someday they would be able to get rid of this eyesore and heal the land in time after battling and destroying the Spirit Minions.

His mind then returned to reality as he shook it free from the thoughts and came back from his almost trance and then kept walking. Today he brought his Spear with him and left his Sword in the camp hidden within his tent. He didn't think he'd need either of them but who knows what he would run into.

The moment he crested a hill he saw another man, moseying his way over to his own position. What his intent on walking these roads he had no idea and couldn't possibly have guessed. Most people usually decided to keep away from anything that was near the Spirit Rift. Its either this man was very brave, or very stupid. He also saw the back of what seemed to be a very beautiful girl walking the way he was and towards the other man as well.

As he pondered about tis chain of events he had nothing really more to say in his head on it and simply lowered his head and kept moving. Hopefully this man wasn't one of those street pigs who simply tried to enslave and have sexual actions towards the other women of the world. If so he would have to intervene, sure it would not have been his problem but he couldn't let a innocent of the world, as far as he knew be taken advantage by a possible low life scum. It just wasn't right, and he told himself after his parent had died that he would make sure that they didn't die in vain after raising him. He would grow up to be a upstanding man and be true and honest. So far, he wandered around the world and took his spot in the battle against the Demons and killed for a living. He wasn't making up for their death so far, he thought deep in his head. But then there was that dark part of his mind that said to him, "Don't worry.....this is revenge."

Yui had finally spotted the woman that Kaoru had set his eyes on. Indeed the brat had good taste, but something even more interesting got his attention. If there was anything that he liked more than simply messing with Kaoru by putting him in awkward situations, it was getting him into random fights as well. Everyone knows when they're being stared at, and Yui looked directly at the man that had been eying him for a moment. Probably one of those chivalrous fellows that thought it wasn't right to get close to a woman simply for a lay. Seemed like it would be an interesting fight at that. The man was taller than Yui and seemed to have a fairly thin build. This could turn out to be most interesting indeed. A smirk came across Yui's face as he glanced to the observer.

Yui, being the more brash one of the two personalities, walked towards the man, his cold violet eyes laced with a glare and obvious aggression. This person didn't seem like the type to pick a fight, but Yui was always a crappy judge of character. It was easy to tell the difference between Kaoru and Yui, not only in the way they acted or their facial expressions, but in the way that the spoke as well. Kaoru's voice was sweet and friendly, while Yui's sounded more harsh, sarcastic and almost raspy. Not really fitting for his face but suitable for his own personality.

The boy was almost too giddy to talk to the other, but in his own form. Giddy from Yui's point of view was the adrenaline rush that the lighter personality was almost afraid of, the sense of a fight got his blood to boil in such a way. He wasn't sure if this guy wanted to get into a fight or not, but if he did, then it was going to be one hell of a party for Yui, and one living hell coming for Kaoru. He cleared his throat when he came within an audible distance of the guy, "Might I ask what you're staring at?" He kept a sold glare at the other person, ready for whatever would come his way.

Kazuma noticed that he had spent maybe a little too much time looking at the odd fellow that was walking his way and he tried to advert his eyes before the man made any sort of connection. Then he noticed the smirk on the mans face. "Shit..." he thought.

He then continued walking as though nothing was wrong, he didn't really need a altercation here at all. It would only lengthen his travel time to get back to the Bulwark. He then noticed as the man had begun walking directly for him. He rolled his eyes as he noticed this. He didn't need this, he had already had to get mixed up with a kid pickpocket earlier that month.

He then watched as the man stopped right in front of him and he stopped as well having a clear nonchalant look on his face. He then heard the harshness and tone in the young mans voice and he didn't like it. This....this boy has the gall to talk to him like that? While he is up here chasing tale and starting trouble he himself is trying to help make the world a better place by thwarting the demons attacks on the Bulwark.

He sort of slided a glare the mans way as he eyed him as he spoke. "What am i looking at? Obviously nothing, now move along i have better things to do then play around with some immature fool" he said as he pushed his way past the man and continued walking.

Thankfully he had heightened battle senses thanks to his training and if the man had the balls to attack from behind then he would definitely counter and make it count too.
