The home of a Fire Nation in exile, the Refuge was put together with permission from the Earth King in secret so that the nation might one day rise again. Though, only the cousin of the late Fire Lord, the Reagent, was the closest relative the man had and ultimately, the one he chose to rule should his entire family fall. Having believed it could never happen, no plans were made in the event of it, and so the Reagent and his won family was forced to flee rather than rallying in another part of the nation. Now the Refuge sits unknown to all save for the Earth Kingdom, as they send out their people to seek troops and navy who are still loyal to the throne. Retaking the Fire Nation and installing the royal family on the throne again is their ultimate goal.
