Positioned between the Earth Kingdoms present borders and those of the Northern Air Empire is an expansive and hastily erected wall guarded by a garrison of only eight hundred soldiers. Created through the use of Earthbending the wall, as well as the encampment and fortifications behind it are all that stand between The Earth Kingdom being invaded by the expansive Airbenders. With so few numbers against an army that seems to grow daily, the Earthbenders know that they have been positioned here to easier the minds of the people with only a hope of slowing the militaristic people down. Under strict orders of sending a daily report to commanders in Ba-Sing-Se, the regiments needs only to miss a day’s reporting to have an additional nine thousand men coming from across the kingdom. Knowing that they are essentially collateral, though it angers the small garrison, it only further emboldens them, giving them a reason to prove themselves to their country.
