Another newly constructed fortress in the Earth Kingdom sits at the head of the narrow chokepoint and is the forward command post against the Allied Earth States. The Serpents Fortress holds a large garrison roughly twenty five thousand strong and is charged with not only deterring the rebels to the south, but to defeat them should the opportunity arise. At this point it is the single largest encampment of troops that has been recorded next to The Bulwark and these patriots look to retake the whole of the Kingdom despite the fact that they are vastly outnumbered as a whole. Due to the immense front that they are presented with as well as the number of troops devoted to the struggle in the Bulwark they keep vigilant for the likelihood of a strike to be made against the enemy or against themselves.
