Overall Personality;
At first glance Saph appears to be exactly what she is, a happy, kind person with a positive outlook on life even in the darkest of times. She’s the type of person who always looks for the good in the world, not hesitating to point it out in a bad situation or just to brighten someone’s day. However, this doesn’t mean she’s hyper, loud, or skipping around singing with joy. Actually it’s quite the opposite. She’s naturally quiet around most people, considered sky more often than not. Often she doesn’t speak until spoken too or if she does it’s only a few soft words that are needed.
Being quiet she still has a way of giving off a warm feelings. That of someone caring, having so many younger siblings she often acts motherly towards people younger than her. Even at times older if they’re sick or hurt. Mentioning that, she tends to go out of her way to help people. She can’t stand it when people are in pain or suffering around her so at all times she tries to do her best to help them, to ease their pain in whatever way she possibly could. If she can’t she tends to feel disappointed or criticizes herself, trying to come up with something that she could have done to turn the situation around, even if there really was no way.
Of course, everything can’t possibly be sunshine and happiness or a peaceful afternoon reading. Even if she wishes it could be. She isn’t one to become upset or flustered easily but when someone does end up pushing the right buttons she tries to remove herself before completely breaking down in tears or yelling, well yelling compared to her normal soft tone. Aside from that Saph tries her best to keep others from seeing her emotions, she attempts to mask it in her warm nature. Though she doesn’t always suceed she’ll still try to power through it on her own, claiming she fine, with a smile (perhaps forced) in place.

history;
Mr. and Mrs. Riagan were a young happy couple who always dreamed to have a large family. Mrs. Riagan had been a healer for the Southern Water tribe but once they began their war like movements she pleaded with her husband to move away from the cities in hopes that she wouldn’t be recruited to help in any way she could with her bending. As well as the fear of being torn away from their only child. Of course, loving his wife dearly he agreed and they moved to a farm miles away from a small town that was a large distance from any major city. Not long after they arrived and started unpacking did the Riagans discovered they were due for their second child.
A few short months later she gave birth to Saphire. They were undisturbed on their farm for year, save the occasional trips to the small town for other supplies. Over all they were a happy family, very caring and supportive of each other. Growing with each new addition until they came a number of four children, two boys and two girls. It was clear early on that three out of the four children were benders, just like their mother. Yet by now the fear of drafts in a mobilizing war country was running deep in their parents. While their children played in the yard her parents quietly plotted of moving to the Northern tribe.
Around the age of six they made their move. Escaping from the eastern side of the country they bought their way onto an old boat. This boat would take the family of six to up the coast of the Allied Earth States. After months the family was excited to see the land of the Earth Kingdom, making a few friends along the way. Once there they spent their time working their way through the country as quietly as possible before coming to the northern tip. Once there they jumped on another boat and made their way to the Northern Water tribe.
Setting up a new life there was rather difficult, even with the help of distant cousins in the Northern Water Tribe. However, they made due in a new home. Saphire and her siblings made few new friends along the street they lived. Their parents got new jobs to support their family. Soon the happy family was able to grow again and live peacefully in the Northern Tribe compared to its Southern counterpart. A few years into living in their new home there were new additions to the family, followed by the remaining children of the Riagan clan, Saphires three youngest siblings.
This left Saphire to grow up in a rather peaceful section of the Northern tribe, on her own she would practice the little bending she knew. She wasn’t nearly as good as her older brother was, often trying to watch him to learn. When she wasn’t practicing her bending often she would be reading or drawing, while babysitting her siblings as she got older. Being the eldest girl she would often be left in charge while their mother and father worked. Only last year her elder brother moved out so in her free time she’ll visit him, missing his brotherly presence in the house. That brings her to the present day of now trying to start out on her own at the adult age of 18. Saph relies on her parents still for a bit but is working to become fully independent on her own.
Other Stuffs
