A soft breeze filled the air as small white puffs drifted down, using the wind as their own personal ride to the frozen surface of the world. Clouds covered the sky as expected but in places a golden stream of sunlight stretched enough to make it past the dark grey of the sky to just touch the surface. Creating a gleaming ray of sunlight bouncing off the icy surface that was the Northern Water Tribe. It was a peaceful day even in the wake of the ever changing world around them, it was a nice reminder that some places stayed sane, some places carried on with daily activities with a certain cheer.
One of these daily activates would be the weekly, perhaps daily event of trekking down to the market, even with the snow slowly scattering itself about the land. Today was no such exception for the Riagan clan as the two parents lead their children into the busy market. Most dispatched to the stands they were assigned to hit up and barter goods from. Only one lagged as they dispersed, the eldest daughter who was rather happy with simply wandering the busy place. Her brown eyes roamed from stand to stand. With a sigh Saph new that she had to get started. Moving to the shop set up to sell crabs she picked out a few nice ones for her family to cook later on.
Her arm now heavy with the smaller sea crabs she smiled, paying the man behind the counter before turning to leave. Yet her wandering eyes moved to a stand that caught her interest. One filled with art supplies. An array of pencils and paints, new canvases, and even a few pictures for sale. Picking out a small wooden box that held a range of a color pencils a rather childlike smile branched across her face. Paying for them quickly Saph looked them over as she turned, examining the colors once more. Vibrant yellows to icy blues to even fiery reds each one being beautiful.
Now with her mind distracted thinking of a scene or person she could sketch and now color she wasn’t paying attention to her surroundings. Her foot hit a rather compact and slippery patch of snow causing the brunette to lose her balance. The events that followed could have been seen a mile away. The crabs for her family went tumbling to her left. The newly bought box of colors flew to the right and she went crashing to the ground. Not to mention taking a section of the nearby stand with her. Saph was certainly causing quite the scene in the middle of a busy market place.
