Sulfur. There was a strong wiff of it in the air all around him. As he wandered down the street he couldn't help but wonder if those that lived here even smelled it. Who ever thought it wise to build a city in the crater of a volcano? He suck his hands in his pockets and let his eyes wander. His stunning Aztec gold gaze absorbing everything he saw. He must look like an outsider here. There was no question in that. Everyone else seemed so....what was the word? Foreboding? Yes, that was it. Foreboding.

He gave himself a shake and yawned, eying a rather sketchy looking woman that in turn eyed him right back. Probably debating on trying to rob him, he bet. He picked up his pace and waved at her with a confident smile. Quickly putting a few blocks between himself and her. Not today at least. Though he supposed he had nothing of value at the moment anyway. Not to them at least.

He ran a steady hand through his emerald hair and paused at a corner. Looking around himself nonchalantly. He wasn't even sure where he had gotten himself to. But oh well, things always happened for a reason.

Nathan was lost he doesn't even remember how he got to this stinky volcano city. He kept getting dirty dirty looks from people. This town seemed like a bad city even in this day and age when a lot of places are bad city's. Wandering around he was bumped, punched, pushed, and..felt up. The people were all trying to steal his belongings, but haha to them Nathan doesn't own nothing. The touching was getting a little annoying, but he understood.

Suddenly he turned the corner, and saw a green haired man looking around as if he was lost too. The people around have marked him as a target to rob as well. Nathan coughed some because of this city's smell, but walked towards the man.

"Hey you look lost." Waves at the man he is walking towards.

Nathan was then suddenly trampled as people were running from a hoard of wolf bats that had been kicked out of there original habitat. Nathan has a pet wolf bat so he knows how they like darker areas, and this town is pretty dark since the attacks it makes sense, But Nathan couldn't just let it happen. Using his earth abilities he smacked a couple. The size of the hoard was to much for him to handle on his own.

Law's gaze drifted to a new voice that seemed to be addressed to him. He studied the man for a brief moment before concluding he too seemed a stranger to this place. How quaint. He tilted his head to the side and gave a calm smile.
"Lost? Maybe I'm just discovering new places." He replied simply, his gaze drifting once more to the looming crowd of rushing people. Unlike the unfortunate red head, Law took a step back and pressed his back against the wall behind him. Managing to stay clear of the stampede, yet remaining oddly relaxed as he watched the hysteric people. The only real thought in his mind being of the cold seeping through his back from the chilly brick wall.

As his gaze caught sight of the origin of the panic his smile broadened slightly. The wolf-like creatures flying toward them sent a faint wave of nostalgia throughout him. What a treat to see a creature from his old home. Though it surely showed just how chaotic the world had become when creatures that feared fire were forced to make a nest in a volcano. Poor things.

He watched the red head try to stop the Wolf bats, his smile fading in surprise as he turned out to be an earth bender. There sure seemed to be a lot of things here to remind Law of his old home. What bad luck. He shook his head and took out a cigarette and lighter from his pocket. Lighting the smoke and taking a long drag, all the while watching the little battle. As two beasts veered toward him he swept low, grabbing an old oily stick from the ground and suddenly jumping toward them. In an instant he had ignited the end of the stick and lashed it out towards the two Wolf bats, who each reared up and let out screeches of fear before turning tail. Leaving Law standing there twirling his little fire stick with a look of pure amusement.
"Who knew a stick could be so handy."
