Fire.
Air.
Water.
Earth.
Long ago, the four nations lived seperately. Then everything changed when the Republic was formed. Only the Avatar, master of spirits and bender of all four elements, could help to unify the world.
Six hundred years have passed and five Avatars have fought to bring about the dream of Avatar Aang, hero of the hundred year war. Despite their best efforts, the Republic has not expanded significantly. Although overtures towards unification have been made, the Earth Kingdom, Fire Nation and Water Tribes remain resistant to further attempts to make them part of the Republic. Matters were made more difficult by the high tension between the four factions that has persisted since an aborted war thwarted by a Fire Nation Avatar a few centuries ago.
Further exacerbating the issue is the rise of militant groups within the nations. Anti-Bender terrorists calling themselves the Children of Amon have been launching attacks on the bender industrial block, undoing centuries of work from the now-pacifist Equalsit Movement.
On the Pro-Bender side, an alliance of Noble Houses have been actively speaking out against intermarriage between the Bending disciplines. This has lead to the formation of a militant group referred to as the Purists, who have been launching public reprisals against mixed couples. While, in public, the Noble Houses denounce the actions of these groups, tension remains high between the three 'Pure' nations and the Republic.
With the untimely death of the previous Avatar sixteen years ago, these events have been running unchecked. Only now, with the advent of the new Avatar's Sixteenth Birthday, is there finally a force that might be able to prevent the world from exploding into another destructive war.
We have an amazing plot, a fantastic back story that covers from the time of Avatar Korra until now, and a cast of brand new Canon Characters for you to choose from. So come on down and experience Avatar: Cycle's End. You'll be guaranteed to have a memorable and enjoyable experience.
